    This book is amazing! If you have ever had anxiety and or panic attacks, trouble sleeping, muscle spasms, or cramping in arms or legs, or brain fog, this is your book! Most humans are deficient in Magnesium. I started taking magnesium powder several years ago. I didn't take it every day and I didn't take as much as it said to take. I began to notice that on the nights I took it, I was able to fall asleep easier. I wasn't as cross with people and my heart didn't end up in my belly if something almost fell off of the table. The Magnesium Miracle is just that. A book written in a way that everyone can understand. Not like some that make you feel like you are back in the classroom and the book weighs a ton. If you want to know all about magnesium and the effects that the lack of it can do to you, read this book. If you already know that most people are not getting enough magnesium in their diet and you would like to learn why and how to fix it and be healthy and calm with a good night's sleep, buy the Magnesium Miracle! Excellent read.

    This book by Dr. Carolyn Dean explains magnesium in excellent style. I had a small stroke during heart surgery so my mind was having some short-term memory loss. Dr. Dean’s writing style is comfortable for my mind and doesn’t overload my thoughts. Easy to understand and comprehend. This book is helping me to make healthier choices about my body and I feel great!!

    Well written, highly informative book! Very glad I purchased it! It’s packed full of information that everyone should have! Especially anyone suffering from chronic illnesses of whatever sort!! It’s astonishing to understand how our bodies need each and every nutrient, micronutrients, vitamins, etc....to make our cells functional!! I love the explanations of how and why we need magnesium along with the studies and resources to back it up! You owe yourself to investigate not only this book, but all that your body needs to function at optimal level! Particularly with today’s constant barrage of chemicals, environmental pollution, the lack of nutrients in our soil and the genetic manipulation of our foods!!

    "I love reading health books, but some are a little crazy. This one is great! I believe we need to take our health into our own hands and do the things that will make us healthy--not just take meds. I am 70 years old and take no meds at all. I had no idea how important magnesium was, though I was already taking it for restless legs and good sleep at night. Now I know it helps in many, many other ways. This is something everyone needs. I know it gets confusing because there is conflicting information out there, but I believe the best thing you can do for your health is take Vitamin C and magnesium every day."

    Very informative, clear and comprehensive. My ayurvedic therapist recommended magnesium supplementation and advised me to get this book. When I started taking liquid magnesium as a supplement after reading this book, I experienced multiple beneficial effects, including (but not limited to) falling asleep more easily, feeling refreshed upon waking up in the morning, feeling more energetic, fewer body aches, decrease in stiffness of joints and muscles (though the stiffness did increase in the beginning just like the book said, but it got better after a week or so), calming/soothing effect (it helped manage anxiety and even relaxed me to the extent that I stopped clenching my jaw) and while my bowel movements were already good, this does help. The most important information is to make sure you understand how to take the liquid magnesium, how much to start with, how often to take it and how much you need to take according to your body weight. The other important information to make sure to understand is how it will make you feel in the beginning and when you get used to it. For example, in the beginning, I would get very sleepy after taking the magnesium, but then I got used to it so that even at the full dose for my body weight, I did not get drowsy after taking it (the improvement in sleep is still there, only it doesn't make you immediately drowsy then). I also ended up getting the other supplements mentioned in this book, namely trace minerals, calcium, protein supplement and B vitamins. While it is completely possible to improve your nutrition through food alone, in my case, my body was in bad shape and I needed the supplementation. In a way, it is like getting my life back. I am very grateful for this book.
